Hello! My name is Rebekah Gerringer, and I am the art teacher at the Knoch elementary schools. This means I travel between the Primary and Intermediate buildings. I graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelors of Science in Art Education and a minor in Art History. After my time in school I worked as a long term substitute in the Philadelphia area. I am so excited to get started creating art with your student in the classroom and building some relationships. My philosophy is centered around process over product, so I concentrate on getting the students to work hands on and experiment with all kinds of new artistic materials rather than create a perfect finished product. Art is meant to let students explore!
