Our 2nd graders put their engineering skills to the test with a fun and creative STEM challenge!🏗️✨ Using marshmallows and toothpicks, students built their own structures, then took it a step further by sketching detailed drawings of their creations.
The real challenge? A classmate used those drawings to try to rebuild the structure! 🧠🔍 Along the way, students explored how the properties of materials can change with use, discovering how soft marshmallows and rigid toothpicks behave during construction.
