Eclipse Viewers Donated

Mars Robotics, under the leadership of advisor Jeff Beckstead, fundraised for and designed the frames of 1,000 pairs of eclipse viewers to be donated to Knoch's elementary schools, as well as several local parochial schools.  These simple "glasses" will provide eye protection while students and staff members view the eclipse on April 8.

The glasses were presented to Mrs. Lambert and 3 of her students by Mr. Beckstead and Knoch High School student Emma Salasky, who is a member of Mars Robotics.

The Knoch School District would like to thank Mars Robotics, along with their major donors, Sheetz Corporation, Rich-Mar Rotary, Valencia Donuts, and The Speckled Hen, for their generosity.
