Knoch High Schooll's musical, Hello, Dolly! will be performed on Friday and Saturday, March 1st and 2nd at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, March 3rd at 2:00 pl.m. in the Knoch High School Auditorium.
Tickets are available online starting Tuesday, February 13th at Knoch - Hello, Dolly! (or go to www.Showtix4u.com and type Knoch into the search bar). Tickets will not be sold during the lunch periods.
Show information: Hello, Dolly! tells the story of Dolly Gallagher Levi's (Ava Breese) attempts to play matchmaker for Yonkers millionaire Horace Vandergelder (Nick Collins). While it seems that Dolly is matching Horace with widow and hat shop proprietor Irene Molloy (Lauren Howard), Irene's plans to have an adventure align with Cornelius Hackl's (Harrisyn Schilpp) plans for adventure. And along for that same adventure is Irene's friend Minnie (Sam Robb) and Cornelius' friend Barnaby (Jacob Ruediger), resulting in a polka contest, an arrest, and true love prevailing.
Based on Thornton Wilder's The Matchmaker with a book by Michael Stewart and Music & Lyrics by Jerry Herman, Hello, Dolly is a classic American musical. In fact, look for a familiar face on opening night: Knoch's 1992 Dolly Levi, Becki Toth, whom we are recognizing for her outstanding and continued contributions to theater in the Pittsburgh area!
