KPS concluded its Read-A-Thon in collaboration with the PTO, with over 30% of its students logging a total of 41,057 minutes of reading time over two weeks. The celebration took place on Friday, 12/1 with Dr. Boerio being pied in the face over 50 times by the school's top readers and earners.
The celebration event had a surprise guest: the school's honorary mascot: Gorilla! Gorilla served up the largest pie yet to Dr. Boerio, much to the students' delight!
