Primary School Computer Class-2nd and 3rd Grade Assignments

Let's have some coding fun! I have introduced this website to most classes. It is fun, educational and easy to use.
What is it?
It is code.org.
You can choose fun options to learn how to code, ie., Minecraft, Dance Party and Star Wars.
The only one you are NOT allowed to choose is INTRO TO APP LAB.
If you are not interested in the one that you chose, go to the back button and choose a different one.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Click on the link below to get to the Hour of Code website and the activities.
2. Scroll down to decide which activity to code.
3. Make sure you watch all of the videos that are included in the activity. They help you and teach you about coding.
4. You don't have to finish the activity. I am asking you to work on it for 20 minutes.
5. It will get more complicated as you move through the activities. You will need to problem solve. Try it out. Move blocks around. Delete blocks if you need to. There are hints available if you need them. Most importantly, TRY and have fun! :-)

2. Watch the videos that I have provided for you.
3. Complete the activity at the end of the slides
4. Spend 15 minutes on Typing.com Lessons - Remember you must LOG IN WITH GOOGLE into Clever first.

Open The Brainpopjr.com link and follow the instructions.
1. Open link to log in with your Computer Classroom account that we made last week.
****IF this link is not working, click on the brainpopjr link next to it. Log in with your new account information. At the top, click on Dashboard and it should take you to my assignment.
2. Watch the Email Movie.
3. Take the Quiz.
4. Play the game, Belly up.
5. OPTIONAL... continue work in Typing.com

Watch the slideshow to guide you on how to set up the account. The slideshow provides a code that you will need to create your account. It will also take you through the process step by step with great detail.

Let's learn how to use our school g-mail accounts!
In this Google Sideshow, I show the basics of using email.

1. Open and view the slide show, Communication Using Email.
*Make sure you view each slide (the slides are on the left slide of the screen. Just click each one to view it).
There are a few videos to watch, but they are not working without a request for access. I posted them under this assignment. Sorry about that. :-(
2. Compose and send an email to me.
3. Mark as Done!!! ✅

The app will save where you are in the lesson. If you did not finish a lesson last week, you will click on RESUME button instead of Start.
